SCHUCHER, Reuben Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at the age of ninety-seven. Beloved husband of the late Rena Segall. Devoted father and father-in-law of Karen and David Muir, and Kathy Schucher. Loving grandfather of Nathan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lily and Gil Effron; and brother-in-law of Ascher and Noemi Segall. Uncle of Frances and Mark Gurland. Reuben served with dedication for over forty years as Director of the Biochemistry Laboratory at the Jewish General Hospital. He loved people, animals, art, music, and photography. Reuben will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, October 17 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the BDH Community Foundation Cemetery, de la Savane.
