MYRON, Joshua Stephen (Josh)
Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Celine for sixty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Dr. Kathy Myron and Jonathan Sigler, Vivian Myron and Michel Moatti, Dr. Philip Myron. Cherished Saba of Max and Jamie, Jesse, Dr. Greg, and Zak Sigler, Alexander, and Charles Moatti, Jordan, and Ava Korley-Myron. Predeceased by his dear siblings, Shulim, Esther and Meir Sztajnsznajder. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, January 18 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery (B24), de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter Kathy's home, Friday following burial, Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday to Tuesday from 1:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in Josh's memory may be made to the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors, (514) 734-1825. Josh was a magnificent and exceptional person who survived the Holocaust and went on to fight for the establishment of the State of Israel.
He was loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. |
