FRIED, Herman (Hertzi) Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the age of ninety-two. Most beloved husband of Jenny for fifty-eight years. Dear father and father-in-law of Bernard and Carole Fried, Florence and Nelson Asinowski. Cherished Zaidy of Lauren, Alexandra and Sydnee Fried, and Morgan Asinowski. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Martin Fried, the late Goldie and the late Avrum Miller. He will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by his family, many friends and people that met him throughout the course of his life. Hertzi was a gentle, loving and caring man, always keeping his wife's and family's best interest at heart. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 5 at 12 noon. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., ending Wednesday evening.
