WALTER, Edith. Peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2003 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Max Walter and the late Fred Fishbach. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Marvin, Rhoda and Morris Lazarus, Linda Walter and Jonathan Berger, and the late Harry Walter. Cherished Bubbs of Allan, Joy, and Leora Walter, Dr. Howard and Lee, Michael and Elsa, Jamie and Jane Lazarus, Michael and Erika Berger. Adored great-grandmother of Jordana, Justin, Evan, and Rebecca. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mildred and the late Issie Steinberg, Alex and the late Ruth Weiss. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Charmaine MacDonald, Shirley Rosen, and Francine Rabinovitch and to the entire staff of 3C of the Jewish Hospital of Hope for their exceptional care, love and devotion. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Monday, October 13 at 2:15 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
