SHIP, Phil Suddenly, on Friday, December 21, 2012. It is with a sad heart and cherished memories that we say good-bye to Phil. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Libby Richler for fifty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Rhonda and Robert Healy, the late Robert Irwin (Bobby), Eric and Nathalie, and Jay Scott and Deborah. Proud grandfather of Olivia and Joel. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Cynthia and the late Stanley Blonder, Peter and Susan Ship; and loving brother-in-law of Rhoda and Kenny Bessner. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Dr. Melnychuk and the staff of the Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Ship Family Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home after 12:00 p.m. daily.
