BERBRIER, Bernice (nee Mauer) 1923 - 2010 Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, August 22, 2010 after a courageous battle against multiple health challenges. The most beautiful flame has been extinguished - our dearest Mom will forever be singing with the angels in heaven with that beautiful voice. Cherished daughter of the late Isidore and the late Esther Mauer (nee Gould). Beloved wife of the late David. Exceptional, devoted and adored mother of Larry and Allan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Lionel and the late Esther Mauer, Eric and Shirley Mauer, the late Phyllis and the late Mark Chawkin, the late Sarah and the late Jack Marcovitch, the late Laura Barmash, Edie and the late Jackie Berbrier, the late Arnold and the late Lucy Berbrier. Cherished and adored Grandma of Jennifer and Jason Kimmel, and Kimberly Berbrier. Very special mother-in-law of Dianne Malen. She will be very sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, numerous friends, family and all who knew her, including her beloved late Muffi, Lucky and Patches. Graveside service and burial to be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 11 a.m. at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane (one gate from Victoria), Shomrim Laboker Section. Shiva to follow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. As per Bernice's request, donations may be made in her memory to the SPCA or any charity supporting heart research. |
