CHAWKIN, Mark. Surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 26, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis. Exceptional and devoted father and father-in-law of Cathy (Brian), Karen and Steven Rich, Keith (Julie). Cherished Zaidie of Jaclyn and Brittany Prince, Melanie and Adam Rich. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tibby and the late Sol Teblum, the late Mickey and the late Betty Chawkin, Bernice and the late David Berbrier, the late Arnold and the late Lucy Berbrier, the late Sarah and the late Jack Marcovitch, the late Laura Barmash, Edie and the late Jackie Berbrier. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the 5th floor I.C.U. at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, January 29 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagadol Section, De La Savane.
