SHAFFER, Anne (nee Drotofsky). After a lengthy and very courageous struggle on Friday, December 26, 2008. Loving wife of Edward. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Harvey and Nonnie Shaffer, and Dr. Natalie Shaffer. Doting grandmother of Stephanie and Dr. Andrew Blum, Ian and Hayley Shaffer. Proud great-grandmother of Erin Brooke and Sabrina Jaymie. Predeceased by her beloved parents Isadore and Rebecca Dratofsky, and her adored brother Abe Dratoff. Anne will be most lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane.
