COHEN, Edith (nee Slotnick) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Cohen, on Sunday, January 10, 2010, in her ninety-fourth year. Daughter of the late Fanny and the late Frank Slotnick. Beloved wife of the late Erving (Issie). Much loved aunt of Joyce and Lionel Singer, Ethel and Leonard Lenetsky. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her other nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 7W at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagadol Section, de la Savane.
