LURIE, Florence 'Tsippi' (nee Polster). Peacefully and courageously after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family on Monday October 17, 2005. Wife of the late Simon (Sonny) Lurie. Loving and devoted mother of Mark, Robert and David. Sister and sister-in-law of Max and Gertie Polster. Aunt of Philip and Lisa Polster and Claire Polster-Maidorn and Patrick Maidorn. Great aunt of Michelle and Elliot Polster. She will be sadly missed by her family and many caring friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, staff and her colleagues at the Jewish General Hospital for their friendship and compassionate care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Thursday October 20 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Zichron Kedoshim Cemetery, Beth Moishe section, De La Savane. Shiva at 6732 Westbury. Due to the Festival of Succot, Shiva commences Wednesday evening October 26.
