ALICE ROTHER (nee ADELSON). Peacefully in her eighty-ninth year on Wednesday July 12, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Saul Rother. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Norman and Barbara (Ottawa), Janie and Grant Edwards (London) and Nancy. Adored grandmother of Gordon and Lisa, Sari and Mike, and Gabriel. Great-grandmother of Ethan and Lauren. Survived by sisters Sybil Steinberg and Lillian Wienstein. Predeceased by her brother Julius and sisters Gerry, Shirl and Eunice. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank the caring staff of 3 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre and special thanks to caregivers Paula, Jemmie and especially to Wendy for her loving devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday July 14 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Moishe Section, De La Savane. Shiva private.
