GILBERT, Daniel (Danny) In Toronto, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Ella. Devoted father and father-in-law of Arlene and Sam Trager, and Erwin and Kathy Gilbert. Cherished "Zaida Danny" of Howard and Helene Trager, Sherri and Gerald Issenman, Andrew and Alyson Trager, Sean and Joy Gilbert, and Mindy and Robbie Jacoby. Adored great-grandfather of twelve great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Sam and Freda Gilbert, Gertie Gilbert, and Ettie and Moe Carson. Brother-in-law of Jean and the late Morris Tanny, Rose and the late Eddy Levine, and the late Fran and the late Jack Beinstein. Special thanks to Sheldon Garfinkle and Maxima Andal, and Dr. Gilli Rosen and the exceptional staff at Baycrest Terrace. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, March 20, at 12 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Moishe Section, de la Savane.
