OELBERG, Henry. It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Henry Oelberg, on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital. Loving husband of Barbara. Devoted father of David of Connecticut and Brian of Ottawa, and father-in-law of Liana Fraenkel of Connecticut and Manon Potvin of Montreal. Caring grandfather of Emily, Adam and Justin. Brother of the late Bernhard of Israel. Uncle of Maya Dubois of Israel. Cousin of Frans Olberg and the late Tati of Ottawa, Ellie Festinger of Australia, and Gerda Blom of Australia. Henry gave fifty years of dedicated service to the Jewish Community of Montreal. He joined the Federation of Jewish Community Services in November 1955 as Comptroller, and later became the Director of Finance. He served as Chief Financial Officer of the Joint Investment Committee of the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal until the time of his death. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, November 15 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
