RUBIN, Ruth (nee Seni) 1918 - 2018 On Friday, January 19, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer, our dear mother, Ruth, in her hundredth year passed from this earth and joined our father, Philip, in heaven. Loving mother of Robert (Rachel), Gerald, Barbara (John Shearing), Frances and David Rubin. Devoted grandmother of Philip Shearing (Tanya Nock), Marisa Shearing (Danny Qiu), Patrick Shearing (Mylissa Koeppe), Jeremy Shearing, Philip Rubin, Joshua, Tammy, Tara, and Tina (Ervin Croxen). Proud great-grandmother of Zoa Ruth and Malachi Qiu, Nathan and Nicole Croxen, and Hunter Rubin. Predeceased by her brothers, Max and Eli and sisters, Betty and Mary. Ruth was a compassionate caring woman who touched many lives with her wit and wisdom. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 24 at 2:15 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. |
