CHISLING, Joan (nee Davis) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan on Friday, August 31, 2012. Loving and devoted mother of Warren and Ava. Cherished 'Nana" to her three outstanding grandchildren, Scott, Matthew and Sara. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Lenora and Seymour Mendelman. Aunt of Gail (David), Douglas and the late Ronnie. A very special friend of Jennifer Milnes. Joan was a courageous, wonderful and unique woman with unlimited emotional strength and humour. She was, and will always be, one of a kind. She will be in our hearts forever. A special thank you to the Kidney Transplant Team at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and to her special friend, Dr. Mark Lipman at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 4 at 1 p.m. Burial at Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
