SWEENEY, Steve Passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 31, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Naomi. Devoted father and father-in-law of Dr. Daniel and Jamie, Dr. Carly and Dr. Derek Rosenzweig. Proud Grampa of Yael and Liam. Son of the late Reva and the late Matthew. Brother of the late Peter. Dear son-in-law of Eleanor and the late Bernie Schwartz. Steve will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by family, friends and all who knew him. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their ongoing care and support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 2 at 1 p.m. Burial at Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
