SHATTAH, Avraham (Avi) Peacefully, on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the age of sixty-five. Beloved son of the late Shlomo and the late Hana Shattah. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Rachel and Manny Rappoport, Leah and Eli Chason, Shabetai (Shab) and Betty Shattah. Treasured uncle of Jeffrey and Miriam, Orna and David, Ronnie and Mor, Rachel, Hanna, Avi and Yifat, Orit and Michael, Reine and Mylene, and great-uncle of Michael, Jordana, Allison, Benjamin and Ori, Amanda, Netanella, Jonathan, Daniel Shlomo, Elior, Kelly, Eyal, Sivan, Eitan and Abigale. He will be deeply missed by his family in Montreal and Israel, and by his many dear friends. Special thanks to his many caregivers and the staff of the Jewish Eldercare and the Dialysis Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, February 8 at 12 noon. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 263 Netherwood Cr., Hampstead.
