FISHER, Myra (nee Emmer) 1930 - 2011 On Friday, February 25, 2011, at the age of eighty. Beloved wife of Art. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Linda, Shelley, Joanne and Murray. Treasured grandmother of Laura, Julia, Dana, Lanni, David, Michael and Rebecca. Predeceased by her parents, Lilly and Jacob Emmer, her sisters, Toby and Gertrude, and her brother-in-law, Hy Fisher. Dear sister-in-law of Fred Weiner. Myra's warmth, generosity and limitless dedication to her family will always be remembered and cherished. The family members are privileged to acknowledge the caretakers who tirelessly assisted Myra through her most difficult times. To Nornita and Karen, we remain forever grateful for your integrity, compassion and endless love which you shared at all times. We also wish to thank the doctors and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their dignity, understanding and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 27 at 11 a.m. Burial at Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, ending Tuesday evening, March 1.
