FERSTEN, Julius It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Julius Fersten, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, February 7, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of sixty-five. Beloved husband and soulmate of Hedie (Klinger). Devoted father and father-in-law of Mitchell and Jody, Audrey and Bradley. Proud and adoring Zaidy of Meghan, Riley and Carter (Fersten); and Bryce, Cooper, Darcy and Avery (Sabloff). Son of the late Bertha and the late Max Ferstenfeld, and son-in-law of the late Abraham and the late Luba Klinger. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Miriam and the late David Klein, Bernie and Barbara Fersten, the late Nat Fersten, and brother-in-law of David and Linda Klinger. Julius will be sadly mourned by his many friends and family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 9 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
