ELSTER, Rachel (nee Kaleschek). Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Sunday December 24, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Isaac Elster. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Marilyn and Jackie Zaritsky, Rose and David Afriat, Simon and Patti Elster. Cherished Bubby of Esther and John, Jennifer, Robbie, Samara, and Brahm. Proud great-grandmother of Madison. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters who perished in the Holocaust. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 15 West of the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, December 27th at 11 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. |
