KOHN, Suzana (nee Ungar) A Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, in her ninety-second year. Beloved wife of the late Mirko. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Eva and Paul Nadler, Judi Kohn and Howard Alexander. Cherished Granny of Samara and Moshe Segal of Modi'in, Israel, Jessica and Jeff Spodek of Toronto, Tova and Josh Spodek of Florida, Benjamin and Joanna Nadler of Florida. Proud great-grandmother of Yitzchak, Jonah, Yael, David, Mikey, Adina, Sara, Ezra, Akiva, Daniella, Atara, Adir and Lior. Predeceased by her siblings, Rozsi Kornstein, Barbara Vasas and Matyi Ungar. Suzana will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of 5 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to her dear caregiver, Elma Sonaco for her love and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter Eva's home. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon.
