BROOKS, Jay
Peacefully, at the age of sixty-one, on Friday, May 31, 2013. Beloved son of Diane and the late Joshua Brooks. Loving and devoted brother of Arlene (John Nash), and Barbara Brooks. Attentive and caring uncle of Daniel Nash (Jessica), and Noah Gitelman. Great-uncle of Emilie Nash. Special friend of John, Brian and Jane Black, and Jane's two children. Jay was a diligent crossing-guard at Iona Avenue School, and St. Monica's School for twenty-five years. He will be dearly missed by Priscilla, his uncles, aunts, cousins and by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 3, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
