LECKER, Manuel (Mannie). On Thursday, December 27, 2007. Devoted brother of the late Pearl Lecker, the late Faye Lecker and the late Lillian Mintz. Mannie was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Canada. He served with the RCAF during the invasion of Normandy and through Europe. He donated generously to established charities. Graveside service at the Memorial Park Cemetery (A-2, main gate), de la Savane on Sunday, December 30 at 11 a.m. In lieu of gifts, contributions in his memory may be made to the "Oncology Research Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514)340-8251, or to the Israel Cancer Research Fund, (514)481-2723.
