BORENSTEIN, Mania (nee Steinweis) Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, in her ninety-seventh year on Friday, April 1, 2016. Wife of the late Jakob Borenstein. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Elaine and Stanley Mager, Morris and Cathy Borenstein. Cherished Bubby of Stuart and PJ Mager; Susan and Stephen Wolchok; Michael and Hali Borenstein, Jamie and Jordan Cohen. Proud great-grandmother of Zane Reed, and Reva Adelle Wolchok; Jeremy Noah Mager; and Sidney Grace Borenstein. Predeceased by her parents Moishe and Yetta and her sister Zosha who perished in the Holocaust. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Monday, April 4 at 12 noon. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Atlanta. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
