VAIDA, Anna (Anci) (nee Weisz) We mourn the passing of our beloved Anci on Monday, January 16, 2012. Born in Margita, Anci was ninety-one and dearly beloved by all those she touched. She was the embodiment of kindness, care and generosity. Anci will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and many pedicure clients. With her late husband, Jenö, she created a beautiful, fruitful life after surviving Auschwitz, first in Romania, then in Israel and, finally, in Montreal. She will be forever cherished by her son, George (Tibi) Vaida; daughters-in-law, Marin and Veronica; granddaughters, Jacqueline (Claudi) and Monica (Kevin); and great-granddaughters, Lillian and Beatrice. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 17 at 9:00 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
