FRIED, Imre Peacefully, on Friday, November 9, 2012. A Holocaust survivor. Loving husband of the late Ibolya. Beloved father of Steven (Sandy), Judit, Eva (Ralph Paroli), and Agi. Cherished grandfather of Damon Stoddard (Irit), and great-grandfather of Isla. Predeceased by his brother, Laszlo Fried, and family who perished during the Holocaust. He will be missed by his many friends at the Drop-in Centre for Holocaust Survivors and the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Synagogue. A heartfelt thank you goes to Drs. Dworkind and Hackett and the Palliative Care Team at the Jewish General Hospital for their kindness and care given during his illness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, November 12 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery (Baron de Hirsch), de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
