BERNSTEIN, Evelyn (nee Cuttler) Peacefully, on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Le Waldorf at the age of ninety-six. Beloved wife of the late Harry Bernstein. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Leonard and the late Nora of Toronto, Susan Bernstein and Al Vaskas of Bellevue, Washington. Cherished grandmother of Alec Bernstein, Beverly Bernstein and Mark Goldstein, and the late Steve Daniel Bernstein. Proud great-grandmother of Jake Goldstein. Predeceased by her sister, Frances Cuttler and brothers, Norman and Al. Dear sister-in-law of Reva Greenberg Cuttler, and aunt of Leona Cuttler and Ben Reichstein, Gerald Cuttler and Elaine Nitkin, Marcy Cuttler and Howard Tuchman, and her other devoted nieces and nephews. Sincere gratitude to her longtime caregivers, Nina Niselshtein and Alga Allen. Evelyn will be remembered with great fondness by relatives, friends, and helpers young and old. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. |
