KANDEL, Irene (nee Varga). Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 22, 2003, in her ninety-first year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Leslie Bak, Rose and Mike Schmidt, and Frank Schmidt of Hungary. She will be sadly missed by George and Marika Kulcsar, her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, October 23 at 11:15 a.m. Burial at the New Memorial Park Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. The family would like to thank Dr. Label and the staff of Maison Geriatric at Universite de Montreal for their compassion.
