Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in her eighty-eighth year. Beloved wife of Julius for sixty-seven years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Steve, Sandi and Nathan Weinstein. Cherished grandmother of Kerry and Kevin Weinstein. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Asher and Natalie Garbuz, Dena and Ted Oberfeld; and sister-in-law of the late Molly and the late Ted Abramovitch, the late Alec and the late Marilyn Feldman. Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 5N at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, as well as to Daria and Herminia for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 27 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., ending Tuesday, January 29.
