GLASSBOURG, Rosalie (nee Rosemarin) Peacefully in Toronto, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. She was 94 or 95 - we're not sure. Devoted wife of the late Leo Glassbourg. Beloved mother of Arne, Michael (Kim), Adah, Emil, and the late Lonna. Cherished grandmother of Courtney, Joe, Daniel, Jacob and Hugo. Sister of Pearl Aronoff and the late Samson Rosemarin. Daughter of the late Beeba (Saginur) and the late Jacob Rosemarin. Special friend to Ted Constant. Friend and mentor to many. A shining example of kindness, wisdom, fierce curiosity and profound inner strength as well as possessing a keen and quirky sense of humour. Special words of appreciation to the loving nurses and Dr. Ray Berry of the Palliative Care Unit at the E.W. Bickle Centre, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, for their respect and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
