Surrounded by her family, on Monday, December 12, 2022. Devoted wife of David. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Rina and Joe Flynn, Oren and Karen Gabbay, and Vania and Nick Read. Proud “Mama V” of David, Lena, Jonathan, Leon, and Liam. Caring daughter of Doris and the late Haron Shasha. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of the late Gilda and Sam Abdoo, the late Danny, Selma and the late Simon Sufer, and David Shasha. Sister-in-law of Sammy and Shoula Gabbay, Raymond and Shoula Gabbay, Norma and Albert Paniri, and Samir and Loretta Gabbay. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Sabah Bekhor for his continued dedication and support. Special thanks to Hope, Edna, Rowena, Michelle, and Annie for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 12 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt.
