It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Violet on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Naim Kattan. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Rony and Jane Kattan, Linda Kattan Abed (Sydney), Guilda Kattan, Donald and Gladys Kattan. Adoring grandmother of Lisa and Adam, Joelle, Arielle, Louka and Priscilla, Dounia, Philippe and Lindsay, Amanda and Neil. Proud great-grandmother of Donald, Stephanie, Sophie, Félix, and Oliver. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of the late Louise and Selim Shahrabani, Jack and Gladys Noonoo, Bertine and the late Edward Kattan. Loving aunt of Clifford, Rodney, Mona, Edna, Emile, and Benjamin. She will be sadly missed by her great-nieces and great-nephews, friends, and members of the community. Violet was an elegant and stylish lady, with a great sense of humour and a generous nature.
