Suddenly, after a brief illness on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in her seventy-eighth year. Beloved lifelong partner of Maurice Fattal. Daughter of the late Moïse and the late Simcha Coriat. Predeceased by her dear brothers and their spouses George and Suzanne, Armand and Annie, and Aimé. Julia will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Brenda and Albert Cohen, Martine and Jacqui Benitah, Michèle and Robert Alzraa, Sophie and Igal Sebag, Phillipe Coriat, Robert Coriat, and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by Maurice’s children Lucy and David Wernick, Carol Taubman, and their children; and by Maurice’s siblings and spouses Wilson and Mireille Fattal, Valentine and the late Victor Balass, Salim and Linda Fattal, Emile and Rita Fattal, the late Elias Fattal, and their families. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Department of Neurology at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service to be held at Paperman and Sons on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Burial at the Spanish and Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 Rue de la Forêt, Outremont H2V 2P9.
