With dignity and courage on Thursday, January 18, 2001. Beloved husband of Olga Mesrie. Devoted father and father-in-law of Joyce and Mounir Peress, Mimi and Larry Levine, Dianne and Jan Turcan. Cherished Baba to Julia and Lisa; Jacqueline, Justin and Sasha; Alexandra and Daniel. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Muzli Karkoukly, Selim and Eva Levy, Jouri and Yvette Lawi and brother-in-law of Albert and Rosie Mesrie, Maro and Jacques Tauby. Loved by his many nieces and nephews, and sadly missed by his friends. Funeral service will be held at the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, 5455 Lemieux on Sunday, January 21, at 12 noon. Burial at the Spanish and Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Shiva at his home. |
