Peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mireille Shemtob for sixty wonderful years. Son of the late Jacob J. and the late Josephine Fattal. Cherished father and father-in-law of Robert, Nancy and Rudy, Joseph and Nanci. Adored Grandpa of Daniel, David, Jamie; Oliver, Jeremy, and Alexander. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Maurice and the late Julia, Valentine and the late Victor Balass, Sam and Linda, Emile and Rita, the late Elias. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and their families. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and by Nicole Turgeon who was his right hand for over forty years. The family would like to acknowledge doctors Sabah Bekhor, Mark Rabinovitch, Leonard Levin, and Yaakov Salomon for their exceptional care. Special thanks to Wilson’s caregivers Joyce, Jacqui, Marjorie, Sheryl, Aileen, Geraldine, Gel, Ilene, Christina, and Sandra for their devotion and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation, 4894 Saint-Kevin.
