Obituary It is with deep sadness that the family of Arnold Echenberg announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, October 31 , 2024, in his eighty-ninth year. Beloved husband of Michelle Green for fifty-nine years. Loving father and father-in-law of Rachel Echenberg and Sébastien Worsnip, Justine Sider and the late Alan Echenberg. Devoted grandfather of Zoë and Sol Worsnip; Isaac, Jonah and Sadie Sider-Echenberg. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Penny and the late Gordon Echenberg; and brother-in-law of Phyllis and Morad Kimia, Miriam and Warren Cohen. Proud uncle of Andrew and Jessica Echenberg, Dyan and Rena Kimia, Rob and Marcie Cohen and great-uncle to many.

Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Arnold came to Montreal to attend McGill University. He became a CPA and was a partner at Zittrer, Siblin, Stein, Levine, and then Ernst & Young for many years. The family wishes to express their immense gratitude to David Gordon as Arnold’s trusted caregiver for over four years. Gratitude extends to the wonderful care he received at St-Margaret’s Residential Centre.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday November 3 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch de la foret, Outremont. Shiva at Place Kensington, 4430 Sainte-Catherine St. W. (reception room) through Monday evening.
