Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in her ninety-seventh year. Devoted wife of the late Fivel. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Joseph Balinsky. Cherished Bubby of Ronald Balinsky and Jessica Yaffe, Sharlene Balinsky and Andrew Gold. Proud great-grandmother of Caleb, Eve, and Dahlia. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Abraham and Shifra, Arieh and Eda, Victor and Beula, Hilda and Abe, Lazer and Fruma, and Itchak. Sonia will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Juliana and Dahlia for their loving care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Foret.
