Dr. Peacefully, in his eighty-seventh year, after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 28, 2001. Beloved husband of forty-six years of Rene Rutenberg. Devoted father and father-in-law of Sharon Kirsch and Mark Laird of Toronto. Dear brother of Dr. Edward of Longboat Key, Florida and the late Leonard. Brother-in-law of Florence Kirsch of Miami Beach, Florida. Special thanks to Roger and Ester for their exceptional care and to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General and St. Anne's Hospitals. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, November 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Shiva at his home through Sunday evening.
