Peacefully, at home in her sleep, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, shortly after celebrating her one hundredth birthday with all her family. Beloved wife of the late Irving. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Leslie, Philip and Elaine, Audrey Levy, Fred and Corinne. Devoted daughter of the late Louis and the late Annie Rasminsky. Cherished grandma of Cory Levi, Jordana and David Berg, Jeremy and Mandy Levi, Jillian and Efraim Simkhayev; William and Ilana Levy, Deborah and Ian Fodor, Michael Levy, Daniel and Ashley Levy; David Levi, Jonathan Levi, and Sarah Levi. Proud great-grandma of Joseph, Sammy, Andrew, Jacob, Jonah, Jesse, Mila, Maya, Jordan, Sophia, Stella, Shimmy, Shayna, Evan, Joshua, Isabelle, Jayme, Lucas, Layla, Dakota, and Teddy. Dear sister-in-law of Abby Levi. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. Rhoda will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family wishes to thank doctors Peter Lipes and Gordon Crelinsten and her wonderful caregivers Virginia, Susan, and Cynthia for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, 1250 ch de la Forêt, Outremont. Shiva at her home Friday following burial until 3:00 p.m., continuing Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva will end on Sunday evening.
