Obituary With great courage and dignity, on Monday, July 22, 2024. Devoted wife of the late David Gertler. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Andrew Gertler and Felicia Kaufman, Eric and Lisa Gertler, Jamie and Caroline Gertler. Cherished ‘Grandma Gertler' of Stephen and Rachel Gertler, Ryan Gertler and Ashley Bitton, Aidan Gertler; Julia and Elizabeth Gertler. Proud great-grandmother of Capri and Demi. Dear sister and sister-in-Law of Carmen Robinson, Mort Zuckerman, the late Nettie and the late Jules Gordon; and sister-In-Law of Sylvia and the late Fred Cleman, Jane and the late Coleman Gertler, the late Menard and the late Anna Gertler, the late Abe and the late Naomi Gertler. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pauline had a life-long love of the arts, literature, and especially classical music and theater, but traveling was her passion. She made it a point to see the world and that is what she did. Her legacy endures through her family, friends, and virtually all who encountered her. She was one of a kind who touched the lives of all who met her. From business associates to friends to her grandchildren, her sense of humour, generosity, and graciousness was admired and universally appreciated.

The family would like to thank Krayna Golfman who was always there for Pauline. Heartfelt gratitude to Earline Bapiste, Racquel Seabreem, and Lauren Takhee for their exemplary and compassionate care. Special thanks to Drs. Cristiano Ferrario, Jason Algunik and Jacques Corcos. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at 1455 Sherbrooke St. W., ending Friday afternoon.
