On Friday, February 9, 2001. Beloved husband of Rosita Fischler. Dear loving father and father-in-law of Eric and Naomi Bissell. Step-father of Michael and Gloria Schachter, Robert and Fran Schachter, and Mesha and Michael Butler. Cherished grandfather of Marc and Joanna Bissell, Brian and Gabrielle Lindy, Steven and Annette Lindy, Allison, Ryan, Ilana, Amanda, Kaylie, and Adam. Great-grandfather of Megan, Matthew and Leah. Brother-in-law of David and Renita Fischler, and Clarita and Levi Dascal. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and relatives. The family would like to thank Dr. Sara Pritchard and Dr. Alan Sniderman of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their loving care and devotion, as well as the nursing staff of the Dialysis unit. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, February 12 at 12 noon. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Mount Royal. Shiva private.
