On Sunday, May 27, 2001. Beloved husband of Naomi Ostroff. Devoted father and father-in-law of Martin and Skyler, Elaine and Neil, and Jeffrey. Cherished son of Helen and the late Ben Finkelstein and son-in-law of the late David and the late Bertha Ostroff. Dear brother of Larry and Vera Finkelstein of Toronto, Michael and Naomi Finkelstein and brother-in-law of Joyce and Donald Oberfeld, Elka and Philip Wiseman. Godson of the late Julia and the late Arthur Slepian. Sadly mourned by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Special mention for the support given by Dr. Simon Tanguay, Dr. Sandra Legault and the nurses and staff of the palliative care unit at the Montreal General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, May 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Shiva at 3495 de la Montagne.
