On Monday, June 19, 2023, in her eighty-eighth year. Devoted wife of the late Marcus J. (Mark) Wiesenfeld. Beloved and adoring mother and mother-in-law of Harold and Ronit (Gisser) Wiesenfeld of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nancy Wiesenfeld and Robert Hofer. Proud and treasured grandmother of Rachel (Benny), Maia (Donny), Jacob, and Shira. Adored great-grandmother of Zachary Marcus and Leo James. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and the late Leonard Simand, Ruth and the late Philip Shuster; and sister-in-law of the late Roslyn and the late Harry Pinker, Barbara Rennert and the late Barry Wiesenfeld. Sheila will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family, dear friends and all who knew her. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bella and Jess for their devotion, and to all the caring staff at Maimonides. Sheila was a respected teacher of students at the elementary, high school, CEGEP and adult education levels who all benefitted from her wisdom, warmth, and dedication. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva information to follow.
