It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Manny Grill announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He leaves behind his cherished and devoted wife of sixty-nine years, Freda Polowin. Loving father and father-in-law of Charles Grill and Danielle Nadeau, Peter Grill and Wendy Slutsky, Elizabeth Grill and Dr. Jeff Kolovsky, Debra Grill and Lorne Miller. Treasured grandfather of Ashley, and Spencer Miller; Matthew, and Kailey Kolovsky; Tyler, and Harrison Grill; Bradley, Adam (Donna) and Bryan Grill. Proud great-grandfather of Davey Ace Grill. Devoted son of the late Ida (Barmash) and the late Alex Grill; and son-in-law of the late Bessy (Miller) and the late Benjamin Polowin. Loving brother of the late Fay and the late Ben Bauer and the late David Grill; and brother-in-law of Jerry and Helen Polowin, Malca and the late Chuck Polowin, the late Dave and the late Betty Polowin, the late Anne Polowin, the late Hyman and the late Gladys Polowin, the late Sheila and the late Eric Hammer, the late Alex and the late Kathleen Polowin. Special uncle of Iris and Amnon Shalev of Israel. Loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Manny was blessed with a large loving and devoted family who surrounded him throughout his life. He lived his life with honor, principle, respect and integrity and it is how he treated others. Manny’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Through the years, he never missed school events, celebrations, or milestones.
