On Monday, January 21, 2002 at age eighty-two, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty years, Sally (Schipper), and by his brother Henry (Ilse). Survived by his beloved children David (Deena), Jack (Ofra) and Arlene Chinitz (David), and by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Josie, and by his sister-in-law Sarah Leighton. Proud grandfather of Shuah and Mollie, Gili and Tal, Ephrat, Ronzie and Eitan. Many thanks to caregivers Michael Rozman and Lettie Sadsad as well as to the devoted staff of the I.C.U. and the Palliative Care Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital.
