On Friday night, December 16, 2022, we lost our wonderful, caring mother, Beverly Newman Mendel. Devoted wife of the late Arthur Mendel for sixty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Wendy Mendel and Marc Greenberg, Nancy Mendel and Tom Ross, Jeffrey and Beth Mendel. Cherished grandmother of Steven, and Jennie Greenberg; Michele and Darren Meyers, Josh and Rachel Halickman; Amy and Rob Winston, Debbie and Micah Litow, Amanda and Zac Zamore. Proud great-grandmother of Noah and Abigail Meyers, Hannah, and Caleb Halickman; Lewis and Andrew Winston; Levi, and Carter Litow. Little sister of Marilyn Landau. Beverly was charismatic, stylish, one-of-a-kind, family-focused, and absolutely brilliant. She was a New York Times crossword aficionado and true connoisseur of life. The family thanks Remi and Mercy for their loving care and devotion to their parents. They made their final decade special. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
