Peacefully, on Monday, December 11, 2023, in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Miriam Vizel for seventy-three years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gerald and Ricki Luger, Stephen and Jayne Luger, Earl and Caroline Luger. Cherished grandfather of David and Stephanie Luger, Danny and Alexandra Luger; Lindsay and Ari Hakimi, Elan and Alana Luger, Joshua and Elizabeth Luger, Jessica and Scott Grossman; Jack, and Bianca Luger. Proud great-grandfather of Max, Gabe, and Rafaella; Siena; Abigail, Emma, and Molly; Annabelle, Ava, and Ruby; Ben, and Maddie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sylvia and the late Herman Luger, the late Mendel and the late Florence Luger; and brother-in-law of the late Simon and the late Gloria Vizel. Sol will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Liza, Felly, Cristy, and Marlyn for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 13 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at his home.
