Peacefully, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in her one hundred and second year. Dear wife of the late Mark for seventy years. Devoted mother of Rita, and the late Larry. Beloved grandma of Lee Cuttler, Davey Cuttler and Rori Kitman. Proud great-grandmother of Jamie, Jackson, and Levi. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Horace and the late Helene Ripstein, the late Reitta Rickles, the late Coral and the late Seymour Fenster; and sister-in-law of the late Lily and the late David Klegar, the late Joe and the late Mae Leibovitz, the late Fanny and the late Nat Shtull. Treasured aunt of Rena and Glenn Dahlbacka, Riva and Roger Fenster, Diane Ripstein, Laurel and Dan Freedman, the late Richard Ripstein, and the late Mike Fenster. Adored great-aunt of Leslie, Joey, Daniel, Noah, Lucas, Erica, Miriam, Nara, and Nika. Heartfelt gratitude to Mitra and Selda's devoted and loving caregivers, Myrna, Jovi, Mary, Lucie, and Faye for their extraordinary care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt.
