COHEN, Samuel S. In his one hundred and first year on Thursday, April 6, 2000. Devoted husband of sixty-seven years of the late Anne Hassan. Beloved father of Margot Howard of New York, Shelby Shapiro of San Diego, Dr. J. John Cohen of Denver. Cherished Poppy of Jeffrey and Gail Shapiro, Amy and Scott Johnson, Jordan and JoLynn Shapiro, Jason Howard and Zoe Cohen. Loving great-grandfather of Tyler and Kyle Johnson. Predeceased by his brothers Edward, Mac and David; and sisters Sophie and Dora. Dear brother-in-law of Mattie Lefcourt. Special thanks to the staff of Manoir Montefiore for their care and devotion.
