With great dignity after a courageous battle at the Royal Victoria Hospital on November 22, 2001 finally surrendered with his devoted wife Karyn by his side. Son of the late Morris and Anna Simon, he leaves to mourn his sister Mrs. Shirley Karp, brother-in-law Dr. George Zimmerman. Pre-deceased by his siblings Jack Simon, Sidney Simon, Hyman Simon, Anita Simon, Ethel Silverblatt, Helen Zimmerman, Eunice Schwartz, Lillian Harris and by his late wife Naomi. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews both here and in the U. S., all of whom he cherished. Our deepest love and gratitude to the very special nephews, nieces and friends who have helped us through this long and arduous ordeal. Their love and caring sustained us in our time of trial. A special thank you to Dr. Jose Morais and Dr. John Backler for their caring. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday at 1:15 p.m., November 25, 2001.
